OladeleLike the Israelites prayed round the wall of Jericho and it fell, Ondo City youths held prayer walk round the city with praises, worship and prayers today.
The prayer walk which started at few minutes past 8 ended at 11:22am was organized by the Ondo City youth leaders.
Ondo youths who prayed at the three inner gates of the city which are located at; Akure garrage, Ife garrage and Oka in their prayers requested for a new Nigeria and righteous leaders. The youths conducted prayers at some important and notable locations such as idi-shin, Osemawe main gate and Ogun-leri where the city usually worship Ogun the god iron.

While speaking with empiregist correspondent at the spot, one of the Ondo youth leaders in Ondo kingdom Mr. Famakinwa Lucas said the prayer walk is an act of gathering all christians youths in getting a better Nigeria. “For every physical battle there must be a spiritual battle “. He further disclosed and assured the youths that God will answer their prayers.
Famakinwa Lucas who appreciated the youths that engaged in the prayer walk advised citizens in the prayer walk advised citizens that God is using the current youth to connect both the young and the old generation. He further advised the youths to embark on personal prayers for better Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Famakinwa stressed that for every problem there is a solution which takes process. “…..we have prayed, protested and they should wait because we are going to do some other things and the next thing they will here is solution”. This prayer walk is a spiritual nationwide peaceful protest.
