Police brutality: Burnaboy dedicates Bet to the deads


Nigerian award winning singer and Grammy nominee Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burnaboy has dedicated his Black Entertainment Award (BET) to the deads at the Lekki massacre and Police/SARS brutality.


Burnaboy did this after his visual performance of “Monsters you Made” at the Bet award 2020, a song from his recently released album Twice as Tall. In the visual, while performing a small television set was at one side showing people’s demonstration with placards of #Endsars and at the end he mentioned names and also more names of innocent Nigerians killed by SARS was displayed at the end of his performance.

“This is for Tiamiyu Kazeem,this is for Kolade Johnson, this is for everyone that has lost their lives in the hands of SARS and all kinds of police brutality, end Police brutality now”


Burna the African giant said after his speech.

Lilbaby wins Impact Track
Megan Thee Stallion wins Artiste of the year
Roddy Rich wins hip hop album of the year.
