Osmas hits Akure with her 5th award ceremony

The Ondo State Music Awards ( OSMAS) held her 5th annual award today at Ruby’s court in Akure the capital city of Ondo. The event titled “The Coronation” kick started at 5:32pm with a spiritual performance from Lizzy Folorunsho a Nigerian gospel singer.

The host Olamide Akinmolayan popularly known as Arkbishop who welcomed everyone to the event recommended Ondo State as a talent rewarding State while Ayodele Ojo the president and organizer in his opening speech affirmed that OSMAS does not sell awards because the intention of the award is to recognize the unrecognized who are upcoming artistes. He further stressed that the event since inception has not gotten support from government as the brand is to help the youth secure job.

The coronation award showcased best dressed male and best dressed female, the male category award was shared between two men due to to the controversial poll while the female category was awarded to Kaffy. The winners of the award categories are given below:

Meanwhile, the OSMAS paid a tribute to Stephen Sotonwa popularly known as Sweetsteve with a performance of tribute song and a one minute standing ovation to value his great contribution towards the Ondo entertainment industry.
