Despite disbanding the notorious police unit Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) the Nigerian youths find redeployment of its officers as yet a risk policy but continuing their protest.
The Ondo youths has joined their fellow Nigerian youths in a peaceful protest for total scrapping of SARS and Police brutality. Ekinmogun youths who marched round the town presented the on-going 5 point agenda to the paramount ruler His Royal Majesty Oba Dr. Victor Adesunmbo Kiladejo in his palace’s hall.
One of the peaceful protest organizer, Joseph Akinlosotu who expressed dissatisfaction of SARS extortion at some specific roads within the town and state pleaded for the King’s intervention.

The Osemawe while addressing the youths assured immediate release of all arrested peaceful protesters and also urged them to within themselves appoint representatives for dialogue promising to work towards achieving the 5 point youths’ agenda. He said “I have spoken to the Ondo Police that whoever is arrested be released” “I want you bro write our your grievances submit to my secretary and we will take step on it”. The king further urged the youths to put their names on unemployment list so as to be part of the 774 youths employment from the Federal government of Nigeria.
Also, Olorunfemi Osunleti one of the protest organizers expressed satisfaction at the Osemawe’s ideas, while speaking with empiregist correspondent he said “The king is a father figure, peace loving ruler and the youths are ready to work with the king”.
