OladeleIn commemoration of Social Media day 2021, the Ondo State Social Media team after studying the vices prevalent among Ondo youths and teenagers, campaigned against substance abuse.
The team which entails bloggers and influencers within the state took campaign against Substance abuse round some secondary school in the senatorial districts of Ondo State which are; Owo,Ondo and Idanre.
The campaign which started July 26 in the streets of Akure, extended to various schools in the local government of the state. The local government includes; Ondo East
Ondo West
Akure South
Owo LG
among others.

The team during their visits to the schools apart from educating the students on substance abuse they also distributed writing materials and sanitary pads to them.
After the visits, the team had an hangouts yesterday 31st July, in Akure educating themselves on how to use social media for the betterment of the society.
The team who appreciated the efforts of headline sponsors and partners who made this year’s Ondo Social Media Festival a success had a thanksgiving service Grace Outreach Global Church, Ijapo, Akure, Ondo State.
