Ondo resident doctors embark on warning strike

The resident doctors of Ondo State University Medical Sciences and Teaching Hospital (UNIMEDTH) has commenced a three days warning stike.

The medical practitioners who shut down medical activities at hospitals in Akure and Ondo town are requesting for the payment of their four months salaries owed by the government.

While speaking with newsmen Dr Taiwo Olagbe, secretary to the protesting vowed to embark on indefinite strike if by Monday the government failed to pay their salary arrears.
