Nigeria police dismiss former Lagos PPRO and over 40 others

The Nigeria Police force (NPF) has dismissed from service former Lagos Police Public Relations Officer ( PPRO), Dolapo Badmus and Yomi Shogunle was recommended for demotion from Assistant Commissioner of Police( ACP) to Chief Superintendent of police ( CSP) with over 40 others over human rights abuses.

Their dismissal from service came in the wake of ENDSARS protest going on across the country against police brutality.

However, it was gathered that the police carried out a series of administrative actions against some senior and mid- level officers.
