Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley has postponed his initial plan to lead protest giving the Nigerian Police ultimatum of one week to observe if the agency will fulfill promises on total end of police brutality.
Marlian president who promised to lead a protest cancelled it after having a live Instagram chat with the Nigeria police Public Relations Officer Deputy Commissioner of Police (PRO-DCP) of Police Frank Mbah at 11am today. He stated this on his Twitter handle

“The protest was a cry for change, Nigerian youths and citizens should feel safe. The government have promised to make changes. Whilst we anticipate their actions it’s important we stick together to sort the issues on ground, #EndSARSBrutality #EndPoliceBrutality”.
Meanwhile, Naira Marley further disclosed that he gave the government and the security agency one week.
“If they don’t arrange themselves we will rearrange them..so we will give them a week and if we don’t see any changes we will make changes.
#TogetherWeCan” Naira Marley vowed, while Douglas Jack Agu popularly known as Runtown still stands on his initial plan to lead a protest on 8 of October 2020 with a tweet with an inscription of “Thursday is Thursday”.
