Lionel Messi joining PSG puts Mbappe on the run

Lionel Messi, after joining Paris Saint-Germain Football Club PSG, has put Kylian Mbappe on the run as a means of shying away from competition.

This was made known as PSG president Al Khelaifi said to Le Parisien that the talks with Mbappe and his family are private and that he’s happy with Messi’s arrival.

“Mbappe wants a great team,he has everything to stay here, I said there is no excuse to leave” the President said.

Recalled, Messi signed a two-year contract with the Ligue 1 side, with the option of extending for a further year. Sources told ESPN’s Julien Laurens that Messi is expected to earn between €30-35 million ($35-41 million) net a year.
