Amidst the several attacks on peaceful protesters at Lekki toll gate yesterday, protesters donated five hundred thousand naira to a groudnut seller on the spot.


The woman who found grace was helped due to the fact that the protesters realized she does not deserve that way of huslte. It was gathered that Uwachukwu John Ogu, a Nigerian football player signed to Aladalah football club in Saudi Arabia donated a huge amount of money to the woman.

Meanwhile, Nigerians are still Keen on daily protest as they intend to protest at Lekki Tollgate today and the Inspector General of Police (IGP ) Muhammed Adamu has warned that no police officer should hurt protesters reiterating that citizens have fundamental right to freedom of expression, assembly and movement which must be upheld and protected by the Police. Adamu further appealed to protesters to continually conduct themselves and guide against infiltration by criminal elements.
