Lagos Ministry of Education picks resumption date for schools

The Ministry of Education in Lagos State has fixed January 18 as resumption date for all public and private schools below tertiary level.

This was disclosed in a press release to the public from the ministry of education in the state noting that the tertiary schools excluded.

It was reportedly gathered that the Federal Government of Nigeria declared the closure of all schools till January 18 in order to curtail the alarming rate of covid19 patients.

Meanwhile, other States are yet to decide as at the time of this report, and Lagos State private and public schools are expected to be reopened for the second term 2020/2021 academic session.
