American rapper ,producer and fashion designer Kanye Omari West popularly known as Kanye West has called for simplification of contracts between musical artistes and record labels.
The “Ye” as newly called who disclosed this on Twitter handle yesterday noting that complicated contracts are how business music companies and sports take advantage of talents further vowed to expose the contracts an make them transparent in support of new talent, also to start up and amend all old contracts.
Meanwhile, Kanye who has recently become artistes’ activist by called most contracts modern slavery challenging Universal and Sony music in particular. “I need to see everybody’s contract at universal and Sony, I’m not gonna watch my people be enslaved. I’m putting my life on the line for my people. The music industry and the NBA are modern-day slave ships. I’m the new Moses” He wrote on his Twitter page.

Kanye West further revealed that he already spoke with Katie Jacobs an American producer/director and they both decided to create a “Y Combinator” for the music industry so artistes have the power to be in control of the future.
