Nigerian Entertainment business mogul, Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana has revealed how he made his money from being a beer parlor owner to billionaire.

He revealed this in an interview with BBC pidgin where he gave his brief history on his education. He went to Central Primary School Oba, where his late mother was teaching, attended his secondary school DMG Onitsha, and graduated from University of Nigeria Nsukka.

Obi Cubana who studied Political science said that he started a beer parlor in Abuja, zone 4 , after him and his brothers who managed a 12by12 room could not get a job.

The 46 year old business man expressed happiness at how her mom’s event went to being the biggest topic in the country.

He said the main reason for the big ceremony is that they already promised their mother a one of a kind birthday celebration at her 80th birthday but she died before clocking that age, and all the energy of fulfilling promise was transferred to the burial. He also said noted that another reason for the flamboyant celebration is because their mother acted as both father and mother ever since they lost their father long time ago.

However, Obi Cubana again confirmed that all who came to his mom’s burial ceremony with gifts and a lot of money showered on him is not a show off but a show of love.

According to his statement, the people present are those who started hustling right from the scratch and they are all well to do in their businesses.

While speaking on when he made his first million, he counted his million when he joined Estate Agent industry and with one job he earned over Six hundred thousand Naira profit and for doing a good job additional Five hundred thousand Naira was given as compensation.

Meanwhile, he further advised Nigerians to work hard as miracle does not give money neither does native charm does.
