Belgian forward, Romelu Lukaku confessed to be happy and blessed to be back at the Chelsea football Club.
He also said that the current form of Chelsea football club perfectly fits his ambition noting that the opportunity comes at the right time to achieve a collective success.
“I’m happy, blessed to be back at this wonderful club. I have supported Chelsea as a kid. The way the club is going fits my ambitions perfectly and just coming off winning Serie A. This opportunity comes at the right time and we can have a lot of success together”.
It was earlier reported that Chelsea reached an agreement with Inter Milan last weekend to pay a club-record transfer fee of €115 million (£97.5 million) for Lukaku, as well as a five-year contract that will pay the striker around €12-13 million per year net (approximately £195,000-a-week after tax).
Lukaku, 28, underwent a medical in Italy on Monday before flying to Nice, where his agent Federico Pastorello announced an extension to their representation agreement until 2023.
28 year old forward left Chelsea in 2014 after making just 15 appearances there following his arrival at Stamford Bridge from Anderlecht in 2011.
