The Nigerian Army has denied the killing of the seven people at the Dangote Sugar factory Giwana’s protest.

The Nigerian Army via a statement by the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Major Haryana Mohammed Sani of 23 brigades Yola, said that its troops did not shots at protesters and but only fired warning shots.

The statement also confirmed that the sustained injuries caused by the stones thrown by the mob who happens to be the protesters.

Although Empiregist has earlier reported that seven people have been killed at Dangote Sugar factory protest while the who allegedly came with the company’s Hilux were trying to disperse the protesters at Giwana.
