Everton Football Club has reached a verbal agreement to sign Rafa Benitez as new manager.

This statement was made by a journalist Fabrizio Romano noted that the paperwork for the deal is still pending.

Benitez, a Spaniard has  managed big clubs such as Osasuna,Liverpool,Napoli,Real Madrid, Chelsea,Valencia and many more.

And after  leaving Valencia, he moved to English club Liverpool of the Premier League, guiding the club to victory in the UEFA Champions League in 2005. For the second consecutive season, he was named UEFA Manager of the Year. He also won the FA Cup in 2006 and reached the 2007 Champions League Final, but was unable to win the Premier League, with Liverpool’s best league performance under Benítez a second-place finish in 2008–09.

Recalled that Carlo Anceloti left  his role as Everton’s manager to take up the position as the new manager of Real Madrid.

It was also gathered that Manchester City football Club has offered 100 million Euro to sign England forward Harry Kane but was rejected by Tottenham.
