Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has approved the set up of a judicial panel of inquiry to look into all complaints by members of the public on alleged illegal activities of officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in Ondo state.
This decision is in line with the decision taken at the last National Executive Committee ( NEC) meeting held on 16th October, 2020.

The Judicial panel of inquiry consists of 13 members.
However, the terms of reference of the panel is to receive and investigate complaints of police brutality or related extra- judicial killings by the police in Ondo State. Also, to evaluate evidence and draw conclusion on validity of complains among others.
The Judicial panel of inquiry has been given six months to conclude its assignment and submit reports.
