The organizers of Big Brother Naija season 6, Tv reality show have scrapped the sms voting for this season following an online voting option.
The Chief Executive Officer of Multichoice, the organizer of the show, John Ugbe, disclosed this in a press conference held at Ikeja today Monday where he announced July 24 and 25 as the day the 6th edition of the reality show will start exactly 7pm.
He also noted that this year’s edition theme will be revealed on Sunday 24.
While speaking, he also said that DSTV and Gotv subscribers as well as online audience will enjoy free online voting.

The organizers also confirmed that the selected housemates will have no contact with outsiders until the show is over and further promised audiences a fun-filled season.
Big Brother Naija season 6 will be showing live for 24 hours through out the 72 days on DStv channel 198 and Gotv max and jolli packages on channel 29. It will also be aired on Africa magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urba and Africa Magic Family.
Mr Ugbe disclosed that the season 6 housemates were selected through an online audition with over 40,000 entries received this year.
It was also confirmed that the new housemates are currently being quarantined ahead of the show and that outsiders that will be visiting the house wouldn’t be in contact with the housemates.
