Armed Kidnappers attack Faith Academy

Fully armed kidnappers had launched attack on Faith Academy, a secondary school owned by Living Faith Church a.k.a Winners Chapel in the early hours of today in Kaduna.

The school which was founded by Bishop David Oyedepo is not far from boarding school where students were successfully abducted in Chikun Local government of Kaduna State. Report had it that gunmen also attacked Bethel Secondary school and students were abducted while Faith Academy’s attack was repelled.

The security agent who confirmed this incident revealed that the gunmen broke into the school through the back fence at exactly 1:00am but were repelled by the Nigerian soldiers with assistance from the school security.

As at press time, the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent Police Muhammed Jalige could not confirm this attack but noted that the security agency were busy preventing attacks by kidnappers throughout the night.
