Congratulations Hurray! We are happy to announce the University of the West in the United States’ 2023 scholarship grant, which is available to bright students from all around the world. Foreign and domestic students alike may apply for this scholarship.

There are many scholarships available to students at the University of the West, ranging in value from a few thousand dollars to the full tuition. Scholarships are awarded to eligible students based on their academic performance, leadership qualities, volunteer work, and other characteristics. Scholarships do not need repayment like loans do.

LOTUS SCHOLARSHIP

Graduate awardees will receive a renewable annual scholarship worth $7,000, while undergraduate candidates will receive a scholarship worth $6,000 per year. To be eligible for this position, applicants must be accepted into and enrolled in a degree-granting program at UWest.

SCHOLARSHIP METTA
An annual scholarship worth $6,000 is available from the University of the West for deserving prospective U.S. freshmen with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed at least 30 units at a community college or four-year institution that is regionally or nationally accredited.

FANTASY SCHOLARSHIP ( DREAM SCHOLARSHIP)
a $10,000 annual need-based grant for a chosen group of first-time undocumented students from underprivileged backgrounds. Students must exhibit great financial need and have a high school GPA of at least 2.8.

SCHOLARSHIP FROM THE PRESIDENT
An annual honor given to degree-seeking students who have a minimum GPA of 3.5/3.75 (undergraduate/graduate) and who also exhibit exceptional leadership qualities. Recipients of the President’s Scholarship are exempt from paying tuition for up to 15 undergraduate or 12 graduate units each semester.

SCHOLARSHIP FROM THE DEAN
The Dean’s Scholarship is a yearly prize given to undergraduate or graduate students who exhibit excellent leadership potential and have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or 3.5. Each semester, recipients will have up to 7.5 undergraduate or 6 graduate units’ tuition fees waived.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND OF THE AJ WANG FOUNDATION

Only eligible graduating high school seniors applying to UWest who have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 are eligible for this private award. Students who maintain full-time attendance status and a minimum GPA of 3.0 are eligible to receive $2,000 annually for up to four years through this grant.

IBEF Scholarship recipients with a minimum GPA of 3.5 who are enrolled in Religious Studies and/or Buddhist Chaplaincy programs receive $3,500 to $4,500 per semester from the International Buddhist Education Foundation.
