Afghanistan: United States force kill two armed men

The United States military forces has shot and two armed men at the Kabul airport, Afghanistan, after they fired on the United States’ forces.

This was disclosed by an official statement from the United defense

The Taliban have now taken control of Afghanistan’s capital city, Kabul, almost two decades after they were driven out by US troops.

Many civilians are try to flee the country, scrambling up a plane at the Kabul’s Hamid Karzai international airport.

The United defense secretary had approved 1,000 more troops into Afghanistan due to the deteriorating security situation and a statement from White House reveals that President Biden will address the American people soon.

According to CNN International Security Editor, Nick Paton Walsh, the Taliban forces are trying to control crowds rushing to get into the airport as people are desperately trying to get out of the country. Walsh described the current situation at the airport as “utterly startling scenes”.

Military fights which was temporarily paused has resumed today Monday.

People in large numbers were seen scaling the 10-20 foot concrete walls to get onto the airfield.

It was also gathered that the Talibans are bringing degree of order to the crowd, pushing the crowds back and away from the airport using the vehicles taken from Afghan security forces.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon Press Secretary, John Kirby said that the department of defense is working to evacuate Americans as well as up to 30,000 Afghan Special Immigrants Cisa applicants into the United States.

White House Deputy National Security Adviser Jon Finer said the US has made clear to the Taliban “in no uncertain terms” not to interfere with Afghans who are attempting to get to the Kabul airport for potential evacuation, however those Afghans should wait until they are told it is time for their evacuation before going to the airport.
